Please Note:
As a consequence of censorship and licensing requirements relating to the temporary importation of films for the Festival it is necessary under Irish law that the Festival operates as a private club. (www.ifco.ie).

Possession of a ticket for any film during the festival ensures membership to the Waterford Film Festival and the cost of membership is included in the ticket price at the time of purchase. As a result, it is an inflexible condition of the Festival that membership is limited to people aged 18 years or older.
